We are seeking a passionate foodie to join our New Product Development Team who help us to ensure that our pies are always ‘made right’. The role is versatile and hands on, the right candidate must be willing to get involved wherever needed. Bringing your enthusiasm to the team, you will support the Senior NPD Technologist in the development of new products from concept through to successful launch. This will involve close liaison with Sales, Technical and Production teams to ensure that the right products are selected to meet product briefs.
The role will also include planning and management of trials for factory products and the analysis of the results thereof. Along with the review of competitor products you will also be responsible for the obtaining and management of samples and new ingredients for the NPD team.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree standard or equivalent in a food-related discipline with excellent communication skills and be able to deal with people in a professional manner. Experience of NPD or Process development for chilled or pastry products would be an advantage. You must have excellent attention to detail and high accuracy skills with the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Basic Hours 40 hours per week, 07:30 – 16:00, however start times will vary depending on the workload, flexibility is required at busy times e.g. Christmas and promotions.
Salary Dependant on experience.

Holidays 28 days per year rising as below
